Scenario: You are selling your home and the inspections have left you with a laundry list of items to take care of and limited time to get them corrected. You need an electrician, a plumber, a carpenter, a painter and a carpet guy, like.. yesterday.
Take this case study in Maryland Heights, Missouri, for example. The owner is selling his home to relocate to St Charles. Before he put his home on the market, he called Gwen Co to come out and access the bathroom and kitchen which were outdated and unattractive.
Gwen Co completed a light bathroom remodel, changing out the shower for a tub and installing a new modern floor in the bathroom. The house was painted one neutral color to make it more attractive to a prospective buyer which meant getting rid of the lime green and purple walls. A light kitchen remodel was also completed with the addition of a subway tile backsplash to top it off. Next we tackled small repairs around the home that needed to be completed which included installing floor transitions, GFCI outlets, installing a handrail on the staircase, new smoke alarms, repairing the siding on the exterior, and sealing the cracks in the driveway, porch and sidewalk.
In order to get an occupancy certificate from the City of Maryland Heights, they provided their own list of items to be completed. Gwen Co is handling the additional repairs as well making it easy and stress free for the homeowner.
After repairs are completed, Gwen Co provides the final invoice showing full payment plus a lien waiver for the title company.
